Finland to ratify Croatian Accession Treaty for EU on Tuesday

The parliament of Finland is expected to decide on Tuesday on ratification of Croatia's Accession Treaty to the European Union.

Croatian parliament president Josip Leko will attend the Finnish parliament session.

If all happens as expected, Finland will be the 20th country to ratify the Accession Treaty of Croatia. Countries that are yet to ratify the agreement are Slovenia, France, Netherlands, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark and Belgium.

Croatia is expected to enter the EU on 1 July 2013.
