According to daily newspaper Glas Istre, documentation for the 70-hectare course near the western town of Porec should be ready by July this year.
Porec mayor Edi Stifanic said he hoped the project would get EU funding.

How on earth can the Mayor expect to obtain EU funding for a golf course?, especially in Porec, the most affluent region of Istria, it would make a mockery of the EU funding.
