A drunk cop who ploughed into a pedestrian while on his way home from a party has been arrested.
The off-duty officer was returning from a street carnival in Viskovo when he hit the woman in his Opel.
She was taken to hospital in Rijeka with serious though not life-threatening injuries, tabloid 24 Sata reports.
The policeman was found to have 2.15 per mille alcohol in his blood.
