Leonard Cohen to perform in Zagreb

Canadian poet, novelist, and singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen will perform at Zagreb’s Arena hall on 15 March 2010.
After five decades of a successful musical and literary career, one of the most-important and -influential songwriters of our time will sing for the first time in Croatia.
Concert organizer Lupa promotion said there would be no standing-room tickets, so the number on sale will be only 10,000.
Prices will range from 300 kunas (41 Euros) to 700 kunas (96 Euros), and tickets will be available at all Ticketpro shops from 9 November.
Over 2,000 renditions of Cohen's songs have been recorded. He has been inducted into both the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame and is also a Companion of the Order of Canada, the nation's highest civilian honour.
After a 15-year break, the 75-year-old artist returned to the stage in 2008, and all his concerts abroad have been sell-outs.
