Exhibition "Zagreb – Munich“prolonged owing to popular demand

The exhibition "Zagreb - Munich - Croatian painting and the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich" at the Art Pavilion in Zagreb will be extended through 31 January owing to popular demand.

The exhibition features a cross-section of Croatian painting of the 19th and early 20th centuries with emphasis on fundamental links to the Munich school of painting.

The Croatian Institute of Art history and the Art Pavilion are participating with this exhibition in a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and the project "Munich as a European centre of art education."

The exhibition features the works of 90 Croatian painters borrowed from some of the leading European museums such as the Neue Pinakothek.

It has already seen by more than 10,000 visitors.
