Croat Robert Pauletic reaches the South Pole

Well-known Croatian quiz master Robert Pauletic reached the South Pole on Monday night, the first Croat to have done that.
In an interview on Radio Dalmacija in Split, Pauletic reported he had arrived at the South Pole at 10pm on Monday. He marked the place with three flags, representing famous Croatian Alpinist Stipe Bozic, the Hajduk Split football club and well-known quiz mascot "Kvisko".
Pauletic dedicated his trip to Stipe Bozic because he was the first Croat to reach the North Pole.
People from the UK, Germany, New Zealand and Japan also participated in the expedition.
They stayed at the South Pole for 40 minutes at a temperature of minus 31 degrees.
