Director spends state money on porno films
Croatian Times
J. M., a former head of state-owned company Croatian Post (HP), spent company money on porno films while staying in luxury European hotels.
The daily Slobodna Dalmacija has reported that HP employers knew about his "habit" because they saw the bills but were afraid to denounce him because they were afraid they would lose their jobs.
The daily asked for an explanation from HP and got the answer nothing would be done, so it seems the former director will not be sanctioned.
HP only said: "Unfortunately, the mentioned services were paid for by HP."
Croatia faces a financial crisis, and a year ago all state-owned companies were warned to cut costs and save money wherever they could.
