Former Hajduk player has problems with his car registration

Croatian Times

Former Hajduk football player Hrvoje Vukovic had the abbreviation A.C.A.B. on his car registration, which caused him numerous problems.

Vojkovic said he had put on his Wolksvagen Touareg the abbreviation A.C.A.B. - All Cops Are Bastards -  just for fun, but it turned out to be a huge problem in his everyday life.

He told the daily "24 sata" he had been stopped by police all the time.

Vojkovic had registered his car in Germany. He is also a former Aachen club  player, so AC is the first part of the abbreviation, and he later added A.B., which no one found suspicious.

But putting A.C.A.B. - All Cops Are Bastards – on one’s car is prohibited in most countries.

Vojkovic admits it was not a good idea at all. He said he had had no problems when living in Germany but was constantly being stopped by police in Croatia. His car was also damaged a few times.

Vojkovic, who is not playing for any club, believes the situation will calm down when he returns to Germany.

A.C.A.B is often used as a tattoo by those who've had unpleasant dealings with the British police and started appearing in Croatia 10 years ago.
