Performing arts professionals gather in Zagreb

The 24th ISPA (International Society for the Performing Arts) Congress will be held from 3-5 June in Zagreb.

The 3-day event on the theme "Globalisation and Identity" includes international speakers debating the challenges of embracing global interconnectedness while maintaining local cultural integrity.

Croatia has been named as a country that has preserved its soul and identity and its cultural and historical heritage in a fast paced and progressive world.

The Globalisation and Identity, ISPA's 2010 Zagreb Congress is hosted by LADO, the Folk Dance Ensemble of Croatia, and Ivana Lusic.

Around 200 ISPA representatives from 35 countries will take part.

The International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA) is a nonprofit international network of performing arts professionals who come together with the shared goal of strengthening the arts internationally.
