Paco de Lucia performs in Pula

Croatian Times

Spanish composer and virtuoso flamenco guitarist Paco De Lucia will hold his last Croatian concert at Pula Arena, today (Mon) at 9:30 pm.

De Lucia, who has come to Pula with his family, has said that he is looking forward to playing in one of the most beautiful places in Europe.

He said: "I love Mediterranean atmosphere and the sea. The food is very good and the people very kind."

The concert will start with a De Lucia solo performance, and he will then be joined by his band - singers Cristo Heredia and David de Jacoba, Nino Josele (guitar), Antonio Serrano (keyboard), Alain Perez (bass), Piranha (percussion) and dancer Farruco.

De Lucia plans to record a new album next year, which means he will be far away from stage lights, so the concert will be a unique opportunity to hear him play before the break.

Croatian concerts already held in Split, Rijeka, Zagreb, Zadar and Dubrovnik are part of Lucia's world tour "Paco de Lucia and Band Live on Tour 2010".
