ZGRAF, the international exhibition of graphic design and visual communications is set to open in the Croatian capital Zagreb on 15 March. The triennial exhibition which has been held since 1975, is the biggest and most important exhibition of graphic design in Croatia, reports website tportal.hr.
Many designers, theorists and critics from all over the world will gather in Zagreb. Zgraf, besides the major exhibitions, offers a range of activities for professionals, students, and the general public. Eduzgraf, which is intended for students, professionals and beginners will be held in the Student Centre in Zagreb. The programme Zgraf-word includes lectures by international jury members and other experts in the field of design and visual communication, and will be held in Gorgon hall at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
A solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art from the grand prize winner from the last Zgraf held in 2008, Swiss Niklaus Troxler, will also be a feature of the event. Zgraf promises to be an interesting event with many of Croatia's leading designers on show. The exhibition will be open until 5 April.
