Visitors become objects in unique exhibition

Croatian Times

A unique exhibition is taking place at the moment in the Croatian capital Zagreb, where through the use of technology, the visitors of the exhibitions become the objects. Every visitor is photograhed at the entrance of the gallery and the photo is then within seconds projected onto the wall of the semi-circled hall and also on a digital billboard on the roof of a building on Zagreb's main Ban Jelacic square.

The exhibition is presented by Bruketa & Zinic, Croatia's leading advertising agency and takes place in the Barrel Gallery (Croatian Association of Artists) until 25 March.

"It seemed to us that a lot of people were more interested in watching themselves than our works which can be seen already in the shop or on the web. We took the idea that this toy will be a lot more interesting because they see themselves and others and how others see the same thing," said Davor Bruketa, adding that the reactions have been good, with many people entering several times and many fooling around making faces.

The exhibition can also be seen on whilst the billboard on the main square will for 15 minutes every hour, show visitors who have visited the exhibition in that past hour.
