New Order confirmed for INmusic Festival

Croatian Times

One of the most influential bands of the 1980's, New Order, have been confirmed for summer's INmusic festival in Zagreb held at Lake Jarun on 29 and 30 June.

After the weekend's announcement that The Cranberries have cancelled the European leg of their World Tour and will not attend INmusic, organisers have lined up the famous British band who heavily influenced music through the 1980's.

New Order was formed in 1980 after the death of Joy Division's lead singer Ian Curtis. The remaining band members, with guitarist Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris and Peter Hook then formed New Order.

New Order will play at INmusic festival with an array of world class acts, including Franz Ferdinand, Gorillaz Sound System, Mando Diao and Gogol Bordello.
