Croatia's oldest folklore festival opens

The oldest folklore festival in Croatia got underway last night (Sun) when the 48th Brodsko Kolo started in the eastern Croatian city of Slavonski Brod with the performances of four of the best folklore group from Slavonia: Tena from Djakovo, Sumari from Vinkovci, Osijek 1862 from Osijek and Brod from hosts Slavonski Brod.
Today (Mon) will see 15 folklore groups from all over Croatia perform, with the main even being held this Sunday when more than 25 folklore groups get together from the Brod-Posavina County to perform.
Organiser and president of the Brod folklore group, Josip Percevic says that in all 14 programs, which last throughout the year, there will be more than four thousand dancers involved, reports Croatian radio television.

Croatia to take part in building two pipelines
