Guitar virtuoso Vai coming to Croatia
Croatian Times
Steve Vai, the famous American guitarist, songwriter and producer who has sold over 15 million albums, has announced that he will be playing in Croatia on 9 November 2012.
Vai, who will play at the Zagreb Tvornica club, started his career as a music tanscriptionist for Frank Zappa. Vai recorded and toured in Zappa's band for two years, before he began a solo career in 1983, he has since released eight solo albums and won three Grammy Awards. He has also recorded and toured with Public Image Ltd, Alcatrazz, David Lee Roth and Whitesnake.
It will be Croatians second opportunity to see the guitar great in action. Vai last played in Croatia in 2005, reported website dalje.com.

Croatia to take part in building two pipelines
Representatives of the Governments of Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina signed a memorandum highlighting their intention to construct two new pipelines - the Trans-Adriatic (Trans Adriatic Pipeline, TAP) and the Ionian-Adriatic (Ionian Adriatic Pipeline, IAP), the news agency RIA Novosti reports.
