Chess legend Kasparov beats 20 players simultaneously in Split

Croatian Times

Former world champion and one of the greatest chess players of all time Garry Kasparov was unbeatable as he played 20 simultaneous games of chess against some famous personalities as part of a humanitarian event in the Dalmatian city of Split on the weekend.

The event marked the 100th anniversary of the Croatian Chess Federation and was supported by the project titled "Chess together with School", which is aimed at getting kids into the game of chess.

Although the celebrities in Split provided some resistance, Kasparov showed his class and won all games finishing with a maximum score 20:0. Well known pop singer Severina, Croatian mountaineer Stipe Bozic and new Croatia football coach Igor Stimac were some of Kasparov's opponents on the night, writes website dalje.com.
