The Croatian tour guide who was charged with looking after famous American actress and star of the hit tv series Desperate Housewives, Teri Hatcher on her recent visit to Croatia has spoken out, saying that the Hollywood star was blown away by the beauty of the country.
Mico Kovacevic, from Trogir near Split on the Dalmatian coast, was Hatchers personal guide for two days, whilst the star was touring Croatia's Adriatic coast aboard the cruise "Sea Dream" just over a week ago.
Kovacevic says that Hatcher constantly remarked on the beauty of the place and how Croatia was as exciting as Disneyland and that she will definitely come back and bring her friends. Hatcher, who had no contact with the media at all on her visit, was blown away by the beauty of the country, the food and especially the view from the port in Trogir looking at the medieval walls.
Kovacevic said that Hatcher even made an effort to learn some Croatian. "Teri was asking how to say in Croatian "thank-you", "good day", "the food is excellent" and "see you again", very smoothly and fluent she would repeat the words with a smile," said Kovacevic.
