MTV to promote Croatia as leading party place

The most famous music television station in the world, MTV, have been in Novalja on the Croatian island of Pag, where they have been following the MTV DJ MAG Festival at the Papaya club, reports website index.hr.
The Festival, which will be shown around the world and will send a message to viewers that Croatia is one of the leading tourist destinations with a rich music programme with the world's leading DJ's, was held over three days and featured leading artists AN21, Max Vengeli, Cadenza Showcase and Joachim Gerraud.
Thousands of visitors, including Australian Croatian model Maria Ricov, partied till dawn when the star of the festival, Sweden's DJ Alesso played. "It's the first time I am at Papaya and I was suprised at the reaction of the crowd. It felt like I was here for years, the atmosphere was great, it is one of my favourite performances of the summer," said Alesso.
