Young Croatian travel writer Hrvoje Juric has returned to Croatia after biking more than 5,000 kilometers in three months around Europe, writes newspaper Glas Slavonije.
Juric biked through ten countries on his mammoth excursion, which saw him travel through Slovenia, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, Poland and Germany, and says it will take a while for what he has just done to sink in.
"If I am honest, I still don't know how I feel. I dont' think I am aware how far I actually travelled. It is not just the huge distance of 5,000 kilometers, but also all the people I met on my journey via the coachsurfing service. I feel mixed up, too much stuff is in my head and I need time to return to a 'normal' life," said Juric.
