Croatian pavillion at Venice Biennale

Croatia will be represented by a group of architects from the city of Pula at the 13th International Architecture Exhibition which is held in Venice from 29 August to 25 November.

The Croats will present their exhibition "Immediate democracy requires immediate area" at the Architecture Biennale.

An audio-visual display at the Croatian pavilion, will be presented tonight (Tues) to journalists and critics, outlining the problems of urban areas in Croatia, popular discontent of the citizens with the state of urban areas, and the resistance to capitalism and the growing calls for immediate democracy, which the authors' will show, needs an immediate area.

The Croatian Pavilion at this year's Biennale will include video footage, photographs and performance projections, indicating the current zoning problems in Croatia, reports Croatian radiotelvision.
