A Croat MEP whose unintelligible English became an internet hit when it was mixed by a Spanish DJ/producer into a House rap has now been asked to team up with the producer.
Jerry Ropero heard MEP Ingrid Anticevic Marinovic speaking in parliament and said he was struck by her "courage."
"I have seen her courage to speak the joint language of the European Union.
"It was charming and it does not matter whether it was good or bad," he told daily paper Vecernji List.
Now he has asked the MEP to develop a "musical collaboration" together after his Spanish House mix became a hit.
"If she would accept it, we would make a hit our of it. I suggest that the money goes to humanitarian purposes," he said, adding that Ms Anticevic Marinovic from the Social and Democratic Party had not yet answered him.
