Bilic praises team after 5-0 win

Croatian team coach Slaven Bilic heaped praise on his side after the national team thrashed Liechtenstein  5–0 this weekend.

Mate Bilic netted the first goal after 40 seconds, Darijo Srna after 10 minutes, Eduardo, the Brazilian-born Arsenal forward scored twice on 23 and 47 minutes and the last goal was netted again by Bilic after 49 minutes to complete the rout in Vinkovci, east Croatia, on Monday.

The friendly international is part of Croatia’s preparations for upcoming qualifications for Euro 2012.

Bilic said after the game, Croatia’s first in Vinkovci: "I am satisfied, and I believe we all can say the same. We played excellently on what was a difficult pitch."
