Footballer left with teeth in skull after match clash

Dinamo Zagreb star Milan Badelj got more than he bargained for in a clash with the opposition yesterday (Sunday) – when an opponent left his teeth stuck in his head.

Badelj collided with Karlovac FC midfielder Gordan Bunoza during the game and the pair collapsed in agony on the floor.

Medics who came onto the field saw blood pouring from Bunoza’s mouth and Badelj clutching his head before spotting the teeth embedded in Badelj’s skull.

He was taken to hospital where doctors later removed them.
