´I will support Brazil and Serbia at World Cup,´ Eduardo says

Croatian Times

Arsenal striker and Croatian national team player Eduardo da Silva plans to support Brazil and Serbia at upcoming World Cup 2010 in South Africa.

In a short interview on tribalfootball.com website, he said he was still in contact with several Brazilians.

He added he would cheer for Brazil at the World Cup and probably a little for Serbia as well.

The Arsenal striker also admitted his former teammate Gilberto Silva greatly supported him when he arrived in London.

Croatia failed to qualify for the 2010 World Cup.

I must say I am dissapointed to hear this,As a Croatian Football Team Squad Member you would expect more Loyalty,Honestly do you think Vidic or Pantelic would be cheering for Croatia if Croatia had made the WC & Serbia did not,Not a chance,There is much rivalry between the 2 nations & it will continue for a long long time,We can forgive but Can not forget the past,I know Eduardo was not born in Cro,but his kids & wife were,so surely he must have some Croatian pride..
