Igor Biscan gets suspended sentence for fight with taxi driver

Dinamo Zagreb football player Igor Biscan has received a suspended sentence because of a fight with a taxi driver that occurred in January in Zagreb’s city centre.
The Court of Offences in Zagreb sentenced Biscan, 31, to nine days in jail because he hit the taxi driver Dragutin Zrno, 51, in the nose.
The court gave the taxi driver a suspended sentence of 10 days in jail because he had started the fight.
The daily Slobodna Dalmacija has reported Biscan's attorney will appeal the verdict because Biscan claims it was a case of self-defence.
