Hotel owner claims UEFA investigator Robin Boksic is a fraud

Robert Palic, a private hotel owner from Crikvenica, claims UEFA investigator Robin Boksic is a fraud.

Boksic is in charge of investigating an allegedly-fixed football match during the Croatian Cup 2009 finals in which Dinamo Zagreb played.

At today's Dinamo press conference, Palic said that Boksic, who had presented himself as an UEFA investigator, was nothing but "a liar, deceiver and thief."

He said: "If the man whose picture I saw yesterday in a newspaper is indeed a UEFA inspector, shame on UEFA. In fact, he was a guest in my hotel last year and abruptly left it without paying the bill for accommodations for eight days."

Palic said he intended to repeat his statement to the Croatian police.

As a UEFA investigator, Boksic was recently at the Croatian Football Federation to conduct an official interview with football referee Bruno Maric, who is suspected along with Dinamo
Sporting Director Zoran Mamic of having fixed the first game of Cup finals 2009 between Dinamo and Hajduk (3:0).
