Dinamo and Hajduk in tough groups in Europa League play
Croatian Times
The drawings for Europa League group play were conducted yesterday (Thurs) in Monaco.
Zagreb Dinamo has been matched with Spanish Villarreala, Belgian Cluba Bruggea and Greek PAOK-a in group D, while Hajduk, Split will play with Russian Zenit, Belgian
Anderlecht and Greek AEK in group G.
Both clubs have been put in tough groups, but many think their competitors are not so attractive.
Hajduk coach Stanko Poklepovic said: "Yes, it is a tough group, but we should not bother ourselves with that. The kids deserve this, and it is great that we will have six big games."
Dinamo has qualified for European league group play for the fourth time in the row, while for Hajduk, it is its biggest success in the last 16 years.
The first two teams in each group will advance to the next round of play.
