Luka Modric to organize belated wedding party

Croatian Times

Tottenham's midfielder Luka Modric is organizing a huge, 500-guest party in Croatia next summer to celebrate with all the people that could not attend his wedding last year.

The player and his wife Vanja have booked the entire Pinia Hotel in Petrcane near the Adriatic coastal town of Zadar for 11 June, daily newspaper Jutarnji List has reported.

The wedding party last year in the Croatian capital Zagreb was a quiet affair as Vanja was pregnant and later in the year gave a birth to a baby boy Ivan. This time they want more guests and a big wedding party.

It is expected that his fellow footballers from the club and from the Croatian national team might attend the party.
