Zagreb FC president reported for attacking a player during contract negotiations

A footballer has reported Zagreb FC president to the police for attacking him during the negotiations over his contract.
Forward Vedran Celiscak told the police the club president Drazen Medic had hit him on the head and pulled his ear, sports daily Sportske Novosti wrote.
The player said the trouble had started when the president wanted to call off the three year contract they had signed last June.
According to Sportske Novosti the president had suggested to Vedran Celiscak to leave the club and the club would pay him three more monthly wages in form of compensation.
"Vedran asked him to put it all on paper so he could show it to his lawyer, but the president got mad and immediatelly attacked my son in his office," the player's mother Marija Celiscak told the paper.
