There will be a record number of Croatian athletes at this summer's Olympic games in London, which will be held from 27 July to 12 August, reported website Tportal.
There will be 108 Croatian athletes participating in 18 disciplines at the games and Minister of Sport Zeljko Jovanovic has said that the Croatian Olympic Committee (HOO) will get 110 million kuna (10.4 million Euros) from the state budget to best prepare the athletes.
The 2012 Olympic games will also see Croatia field a women's handball and basketball team for the first time at the Olympics as a record number of Croatian women, 44, will be competing in London.
