An injury time equaliser by Ante Rukavina has given Dinamo Zagreb the advantage after the first leg of the 2nd round Champions league qualfier against Bulgarian champions Ludogorec played in Bulgaria last night (Wed).
Dinamo went behind in the 67th minute after poor defending left Ludogorec striker Marcelino unmarked in the box and he simply headed home from five yards to make it 1-0.
It looked as if Dinamo were heading for defeat before Rukavina was injected into the match in inury time. With a minute left in added time, Rukavina met a Sammir cross and headed home the decisive away goal to give Dinamo a 1 all away draw.
"I expected a better reaction from my players. But, thanks Rukavina and well done to him, he showed that a player who plays only a few minutes can decide a match," said Dinamo coach Ante Cacic.
The return leg will be played at Zagreb's Maksimir stadium on 24 July.
