Croatian Times
Famous American actress Angelina Jolie has publically criticised Croatian handball coach Slavko Goluza after A statement he made following his teams convincing win over Serbia at the Olympic Games in London during the week.
"Nothing will spoil this day for us. We showed that we are better than Serbia on neutral ground. I can't help but feel that this victory reminds me of the film "Storm" (name of the operation carried out by Croatian soldiers to claim back territory from Serbs during the war in 1995)," said Goluza.
Jolie reacted to the statement on Twitter writing "I am shocked by the comments Croatian handball coach made after the game vs. Serbia. Some people miss entirely the point of the Olympic Games. Nationalism is not to be confused with Patriotism."

clearly all of you accusing Angie for commenting this are from Croatia-and I amm sorry to say but if you approve Oluja or any action that had caused people lose their lives, homes than you are nationalists! And, as half-Croat, I must say that all world knows Croats as being violent nationalists-please see what happened to supporters of your football team on the recent European Championship. Also, all your arguments how Serbs committed crimes, yes they did, and mostly to innocent Bosnians the same way like you commited crimes in Jasenovac in the mid of last century-the World remembers that very well and sometimes you should remember before accusing others. P.S this coach is nothing but an idiot

The journalist who stated that the Croatian coach was refering with his statment to the operation "Oluja" is an idiot. He said that the win reminded him of the movie The Storm, meaning the movie The Perfect Storm. He just said it wrong. Get your facts straight (or a better translator) before issuing such a harmful statment.

agree... and what is wrong with defeniding your own coutnry against aggressors? serbia has its own issues and as it is still onvolved in attrovities in kosovo, I am not too sympathtic when this contry has attacked every foremr republic of yogslavia and still has serious issues in kosovo and within.

The croatian coach said indeed that after the win against Serbia he could not prevent from comparing it with the movie "Storm". Storm in serbian (and croatian) is "Oluja" which was the name given to the attack of the croatian army against Serbs in CRoatia in 1992, expelling 300.000 Serbs from their homes into neigboring Bosnia. It was a bloody attack and during the operation, about 800 Serbs were killed, 20.000 houses of Serbs burnt away, and 300.000 were expelled. A crime against humanity for which until today, Croatia is still unpunished. After twenty years, the croatian government has not given a chance to Serbs to go back to their homes and even worse, the croatian government has recently issued a law to take away serbian land and homes and make those serbian properties state owned by Croatia. So this is a political statement of the sports coach for which I think the Olympic World Federation should take action and ban CRoatia from further participation in the London Olympics.

Alexander you have got to be the most pathetic person around. To get political, Croatia was occupied by an agressor, ie Serbs (who did the same in Bosnia and Kosevo) and concentration camps set up by Serbs as torture camps not seen since WW2 were watched by the world who did nothing! Croatia LIBERATED ITS OWN COUNTRY and while its unfortunate that people died and are displaced in War the vast majority of those Serbs that stayed refused to recognise the country they lived in and took up arms with the occupied Serbs. READ AND UNDERSTAND B4 YOU COMMENT..its called get EDUCATED!!!!!

Jolie wanted to make a film about a Bosnian woman who falls in love with her Serbian rapist. Anybody as crazy as that deserves to be ignored.
