The Croatian Men's Quadruple Sculls team have taken another step towards a medal at the London Olympics by qualifying as the fastest crew for the final which is set to take place on Friday.
The Croatian team of David Sain, Damir Martin, Valent Sinkovic and Martin Sinkovic won their semi-final on Wednesday and were the fastest crew out of both semi-finals with a time of 6:03.39.
The Croatian crew, who will go into Friday's final as favourites, will need to beat crews from Australia, Great Britain, Germany, Estonia and Poland for Olympic gold, writes website dnevnik.hr.
