Croatian Teams World Champions in Crossbow Shooting

Croatia's male and female national teams were crowned world champions yesterday (Thurs) at the 16th IAU World Field Crossbow Championships which was held in Bratina (Zagreb County), Croatia.
The Croatian men's team, consisting of Domagoj Pereglin, Andrej Krstinic and Zoran Spoler, took out the men's competition finishing ahead of France and Germany.
The Croatian women's team also matched the feat of their male counterparts and won the women's competition. The World Champion team of Branka Pereglin, Sanja Komar and Nikolina Krivanek were too good for the rest of the field, and as in the men's competition, France and Germany also finished second and third respectively.
