Pescara fails to pay for Ante Vukusic
Croatian Times
A row has broken out between Italian football club Pescara and Hajduk Split over unpaid transfer fees.
Pescara promised to pay the Croatian club over 3 million Euro in installments for 21-year-old striker Ante Vukusic.
But after agreeing to pay 1.8 million Euro in its first installment the Italians paid out only 1 million, with the deadline for the other 800,000 passing on Tuesday.
Hajduk Split president Marin Brbic said he was "surprised" the club hadn’t paid up and revealed they weren’t intending to do so until January 2013.
German side Wolfsburg were in the meantime linked with offering 3.5 million for Vukusic.

Croatia to take part in building two pipelines
Representatives of the Governments of Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina signed a memorandum highlighting their intention to construct two new pipelines - the Trans-Adriatic (Trans Adriatic Pipeline, TAP) and the Ionian-Adriatic (Ionian Adriatic Pipeline, IAP), the news agency RIA Novosti reports.
