Five of the 100 sexiest villas on the Mediterranean are in Croatia

British Sunday Times’s listing of the 100 sexiest villas on the Mediterranean coast includes five on Croatia's Dalmatian coast.
France and Spain still have the highest number of picturesque houses for rent, according to the Times.
But Croatia is represented by villa Maruka and villa Dol, both on the island of Brac, the Captain’s House in Peljesac, the Stone Villa near Podgora and the Poet's House in Dubrovnik.
The article didn't mention any villas on Istria's coast, leading the Croatian business portal Bussiness.hr to speculate that the writer must not have visited that region.
The rent is anywhere between 2,000 and 3,500 Euros a week, depending on the season.
