Plitvice among top 17 fairytale places in the world

Croatian Times

Croatian national park Plitvice Lakes has been chosen by British website FemaleFirst as one of world's top 17 fairytale places. "Often overlooked, the Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of the best natural landmarks in Eastern Europe. This maze of lakes and waterfalls is something straight out of a fantasy fairy tale, with luch greenery and clear turquoise waters as well as incredibly beautiful scenery. The reality of this area, however, lies in conflict and war, and with its history well behind it, the park has now become a place of ultimate serenity", FemaleFirst writes.

Femalfirst is limited in knowledge. We have to forgive them. They are Anglosaxons, therefore parochial. Do not miss Plitvice. We plan to hold our next kouroi conference there. Femalefirst fans are welcome, but they are not encouraged to attend the event. Since they are esthetically challenged, they might get frustrated by a lack of attention. Kouroi are used to Caryatids.
